Note From VZSC President

Dear Members and Friends of the Veazie Salmon Club,

As we reflect on the past year and look ahead to the seasons to come, I want to extend my sincere and heartfelt thanks to each of you for your support of the Veazie Salmon Club in 2025.

Whether you are a long-time member, a renewing member, or someone who joined us for the first time this year, your involvement matters. Your memberships, renewals, and encouragement strengthen this Club and make it possible for us to continue our work in conservation, education, and fellowship along the Penobscot River.  To our new members, Welcome!  We are truly glad you have joined us. Please be sure to watch for announcements about our quarterly club meetings, keep an eye out for emails from the Club, and visit our website regularly at www.veaziesalmonclub.org for updates, events, and opportunities to get involved.

At its heart, the Veazie Salmon Club is about more than fishing. It is about community. It is about caring for our woods and waters, respecting the natural world that sustains us, and passing along values of stewardship, respect, and responsibility to the next generation. Just as important, it is about family—families who fish together, volunteer together, and build lasting friendships through a shared love of the outdoors.

As we move forward, I encourage each of you to stay engaged. Consider volunteering at a club event or conservation effort, bringing a friend or family member to a meeting or dinner, or making a donation to support the Club’s programs and operations. Every hour given, every new face welcomed, and every contribution—large or small—helps ensure the strength and continuity of the Veazie Salmon Club.

Thank you for being part of this Club and for believing in its mission. Your continued support ensures that the Veazie Salmon Club remains a strong, welcoming, and meaningful presence in our community.

With sincere appreciation,

Andy Fitzpatrick
