Clough Family Donation

The banks of the Penobscot River hold countless stories – of salmon runs, early morning casts, and friendships forged over shared love of the water. Among those stories is the life and legacy of Donald M. Clough, a dedicated 45 year VZS Club member known for his kind and caring spirit which left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Recently, the Clough family made a generous and deeply touching gift to the Club – these two Adirondack chairs handcrafted by Donald himself. The chairs now sit on the banks of our beloved river, facing the water he cherished. They are more than a donation; they are a part of him – a place where future generations of anglers, friends, and visitors will sit and watch the Penobscot flow, swap fishing tales, and build lifelong friendships.

Huge and Humble Thanks to the Clough family for this heartfelt donation.
