One of a Kind Town Manager – Mark Leonard

Dear Members & Friends,

In every thriving community, there are individuals whose quiet dedication makes all the difference. Veazie is fortunate to have one such person in Town Manager Mark Leonard. His commitment to our town and especially the Veazie Salmon Club goes far beyond the ordinary duties of his office.

Mark has consistently shown that he cares deeply about both our community’s heritage and its people. From helping with parking lot lights and installing new signage to dedicating personal time to lend a hand with installing ladders hangers and other maintenance tasks himself, his efforts speak volumes about his character. These gestures, though humble, have helped keep our Club alive & safe, welcoming, and visible to the public.

Equally important, Mark’s leadership has fostered strong collaboration between our Town citizens, the Veazie Police Department,  and the Club. Regular patrols and police presence around our property provides reassurance to members, visitors, and neighbors alike ensuring that our riverside community remains a secure and respected space for all to enjoy.

We wish to extend our sincere gratitude to Mark Leonard for his ongoing support, generosity of spirit, and hands-on approach to community building. His example reminds us that stewardship—of our town and of the Penobscot River’s traditions—is a shared calling that thrives through care, collaboration, and genuine goodwill.

Please join us in thanking Mark for his steadfast commitment to Veazie and the Veazie Salmon Club.

From all the Members of The Veazie Salmon Club – Thank You Mark!

Your Friends at The Veazie Salmon Club!
