Make Sure You Visit Hirundo!!!!

August at the Veazie Salmon Club

What a great group  and night we had at our August meeting!

Members even drove all the way down from The County to join in. We shared shrimp cocktail, lasagna, garlic bread, and of course cookies and ice cream sandwiches — it always feels more like a family supper than a meeting night at The Veazie Salmon Club! Since June, the clubhouse has been busy with members hosting family birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, and whether paper goods, soap, or a cash donation — it all helps keep the Club running, and we’re so grateful.

We wrapped up with a truly inspiring talk from Kristen Buck and Howard Corbett from Hirundo Wildlife Refuge. Located just a few miles up the road from the Club their 2,460 acres of trails, river access, and educational programs are a treasure right here in our backyard. If you haven’t visited yet, you really should — it’s the kind of place that fills you up with peace and love for the outdoors.

Thanks to all members that attended and all Veazie Salmon Club members for your continuing support.

We look forward to sharing more good times together in the months ahead.

The next Club meeting is planned for Thursday December 18th.

Please mark your calendars now so that you do not miss this holiday event!

Your Friends at The Veazie Salmon Club!
