Thank you to everyone who joined us for last night’s Veazie Salmon Club meeting. While we had a low turnout, we greatly appreciate the participation of those who were able to attend and contribute to the conversation. Your involvement helps keep the spirit and mission of the club alive. Special thanks to Chef Tony once again!
A sincere thank you to the 25 members who renewed their membership since our last meeting — your continued support means so much too. We’re also deeply grateful to those who contributed to the Club’s Emergency Repairs Fund. Your generosity ensures that we can maintain and preserve the club for seasons to come.We understand that schedules are busy, and we’d love to hear your ideas on how we can improve attendance moving forward. If you have suggestions for different meeting formats, times, or topics that would make it easier or more appealing to attend, please don’t hesitate to share. Your feedback is always welcome. Below is the current ongoing Club Project List we are looking to complete!
- mice got into heat pump and parts/motor need replacing
- storm door needs handle replaced
- several soft boards on front deck need replacement
- railing on parking lot side needs reinforcement/remounting
- Club externally needs a fresh coat of paint along with deck
- parking lot needs replacement telephone pole vehicle barrier replaced; Town of VZ working on getting one delivered for us to cut
- brush obstructing view to shoreline needs to be cut down and trail for fishermen opened up
- pavement transition line at bottom of hill in parking lot needs resealing
- kitchen sink fixture blown and needs gasket kit/and or replacement – Scheduled repair 7/1
- toilet needs stabilizing as it “rocks” on the ring and can leak – Scheduled repair 7/1
- bathroom sink fixture loose- Scheduled repair 7/1
- wiring from external outlets to deck has been destroyed by rodents; need new line and outside GFCI outlets
- parking lot LED light on pole stopped working; needs troubleshooting to get working again
